My Educational Purpose

Mrs. M.
I think this is my 4th profile update. Each one I am a little further into my education and closer to my goals. This blog was originally created to share with family/friends my adventures in Mexico where I was a student in Cuernavaca and Puebla. This was during the years of 2006, 2007 and 2008. Once I graduated with my Spanish bachelors, I moved to concentrating on becoming an ESL teacher. Additionally, I decided to earn a masters in curriculum and instruction. Fast forward a few years, 2011. I have now finished my EC-6 ESL teaching credential. May 2012 I was offered my dream job; a 5th grade dual language ESL teaching position at a local Pasadena ISD middle school. Additionally, in Aug. 2012 I will complete my masters! Whew...that is a lot! My blog will now be a place where I can chat about my adventures as a new teacher!! I have many ideas about how I want to run my classroom and how I want to teach. I think it will be fun to document all these fresh ideas and see what happens!! I plan on enjoying the ride! ¡Educacion es mi vida!! Education is my life.
